The greatest adventure we face as human beings is to explore the meaning of life. Questions like, “Where does the universe come from?” “Is there a God?” “What happens to us when we die?” challenge us to think, love, and live. It is the conviction of Catholic Christians, that the answers to life’s questions are found in Jesus Christ, and that we have been called by Jesus to explore those questions, and your own, with you.

If you decide to become Catholic, substantive formation occurs. After some time in preparation, depending on your faith history and following the lead of the Holy Spirit, you will be formally received into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a journey to God through which a person is gradually transformed into the likeness of Christ through a conversion process brought about by the Holy Spirit working through prayer and instruction in the faith. Although the journey never ends, the RCIA culminates in a person’s being fully initiated into the Body of Christ, the Church, through reception of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Baptized persons from other denominations may also join in this process.

It is a very moving, Spirit-filled process for all involved.
